We're not sure what's "white" about the Weißer See, but it's a decent option for a quick summer dip, and it's just 15 minutes from Alexanderplatz by tram. Either lounge in the grassy public park and enter the water via muddy banks, or pay €4.50 for access to sun-beds, a sandy beach, kiddie-safe swimming and showers at the Strandbad Weißensee. Or rent a rowboat and float through the giant fountain in the centre of the lake.
