1981 Born in Seattle, Washington.
1995 Hears saxophonist Joe Henderson’s Blue Note classic Inner Urge; decides to become a jazz musician. Then Nirvana and OK Computer change his mind.
2004 Joins Grizzly Bear on stage after the release of their debut, Horn of Plenty (Kanine Records). From then on, he produces, plays multiple instruments and provides vocals on most of their songs.
2009 Founds Terrible Records.
2011 First solo project under the moniker CANT in collaboration with Twin Shadow’s George Lewis Jr. Dreams Come True released in September on Warp (Europe) and Terrible (USA).
