WIZTHEMC
To kick off the month, WIZTHEMC, a South African-born, German-raised artist, returns home for his ‘Never Home’ tour. With his summery upbeat tracks he’s been winning hearts all over the globe, from Manchester to Munich. Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys | Minimal Schlager
Prepare to be hypnotised by the dreamy sounds of two Berlin-based bands. Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys and Minimal Schlager collaborate in a fundraising event to perform at SXSW in Texas. The intimate 200-person venue combined with their psychedelic sounds promises to create an atmosphere akin to falling into a parallel Lynchian universe.

The Gaslight Anthem
Hailing from New Jersey, The Gaslight Anthem are a punk-inflected rock band formed in the noughties. Swans
In their 40 years of making music, Swans have learnt a thing or two on how to mesmerise crowds. Berlin is lucky enough to have them conclude their 100-concert tour at silent green Kulturquartier which features a unique collaboration with Swedish musician Maria W. Horn. Fun fact: If you want to know just how experimental this experimental rock band is, their recent album ‘The Beggar’ features a 43-minute song.

Tricky
Tricky, the trailblazing pioneer of trip-hop, revisits and reinvents his groundbreaking 1995 album ‘Maxinquaye’ with ‘Maxinquaye Reincarnated’. The original album was so significant that even David Bowie wrote him a letter of admiration. An early member of Massive Attack, Tricky, who made Berlin his home for many years, brings this much-anticipated re-release to the opulent setting of Theater des Westens.

Die Sterne
Looking at Die Sterne’s polished look it might not occur to you that they were one of the pioneers of the Die Hamburger Schuler, a post-punk movement that used music as a vehicle for social commentary. In their 2024 album ‘Grandezza’ the story of this band’s 30 years of making music is told in 18 songs. And while they usually sing in German, ‘Grandezza’ includes a previously-unreleased Mandarin track. Already sold out in Hamburg, don’t miss the chance to see their nihilistic beats and left-wing messages brought to life here in Berlin.

Hailing from Detroit, Black Milk first made his name in the noughties collaborating with artists like Slum Village and Danny Brown.
