15:00 Lunch at Schädel & Sattler (Oderberger Str. 56, Prenzlauer Berg) with one of my portrait models to warm them up before the photo shoot. It’s homestyle cooking, a cosy atmosphere.
18:00 After the shoot: it’s off to vernissages. My mother told me that real photographers always carry their camera.
20:30 Next to Kuchi (Gipsstr. 3, Mitte) has really good Japanese soups.
22:30 To finish off the night, drinks in Lass uns Freunde Bleiben (Choriner Str. 12, Mitte).
SATURDAY
11:30 Morning Glory (Kastanienallee 75, Prenzlauer Berg) has the best fresh juices – the ‘Immune Booster’ fills me with energy.
12:30 Shopping at Kollwitzmarkt (Kollwitzplatz, Prenzlauer Berg). Fresh pasta and small stands with local Berlin brands — for example Pesto Dealer or Miriam Eva Kebe for chutney.
15:00 Lunch at Lebensmittel in Mitte (Rochstr. 2, Mitte). Good, fresh ingredients. I always meet people I know.
17:30 Off to an exhibition at Camera Work (Kantstr. 149, Charlottenburg).
22:30 Drinks at Trust Bar (Torstr. 72, Mitte) and if we’re still up for more, we might go to Watergate (Falckensteinstr. 49, Kreuzberg).
SUNDAY
13:00 A run in the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark (Eberswalder Str. 37-52, Prenzlauer Berg).
15:00 After the run, I’m up for a real meal at Chipps (Jägerstr. 35, Mitte). They always have the same things on the menu, but you can have a new combination plate every time.
17:00 Catch an OV movie. I like Brotfabrik (Prenzlauer Promenade 3, Prenzlauer Berg), Babylon (Rosa-Luxemburg-Str. 30, Mitte) and Lichtblick (Kastanienallee 77, Prenzlauer Berg).
