When We Are Together
Do we really have sex all the time in Berlin, or is it all talk and no play? That’s one of several questions posed by Marit Östberg’s When We Are Together We Can Be Everywhere, and if the film is anything to go by – it was screened at Berlin’s Pornfilmfestival, after all – the answer is positive.
Shot over the course of just three days, the film is both scripted and improvised; part-fiction, part-documentary; simultaneously porn itself and a behind-the-scenes look at how porn is filmed.
Most of all, it’s a nostalgia-tinged attempt to locate and (re)create a queer space in the city that feels both safe and sexy, a place where new relationships were and still are able to kindle.
In cooperation with realeyz.tv, our EXBlicks screening will be followed, as usual, by drinks on the house.
