Chinese takeaway
As a middle-aged curmudgeon in Argentina, Roberto lives like clockwork with only his little eccentricities to keep him company until an offhand act of goodwill brings a lost Chinese man into his life. Transcending a stark language barrier, the men forge a bond, and Roberto discovers the joy of human relationships. Some themes verge on the trite, but the story flows well and is entertainingly peppered with Spanish swearwords.
